I can attest that the resignation letter to Paul Hastings is indeed real. I am a personal friend and partner of the attorney who wrote this and was aware of it the week it happened.

This man is a graduate of Columbia, Cornel and Harvard and a man of ethics and great ambition. The last 4 years has seen him build a highly successful practice in Atlanta and a 2007 selection to Trial Lawyers College.

As always, you are very kind. I hope, too, that the last letter was real. The captured sentiments I suspect many of us have felt on one or more occasion about our jobs.

Oh my goodness, how I hope that last one is actually true! Thank you very much for (as always) a beautifully written post which makes me think, laugh perhaps (which I did just now), and grow.
